Cs remains a suspect in the alleged fake diploma case of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (
Jokowi
).This is based on the results of a special case conducted by investigators on Monday (15/12).
“After investigators carried out a fairly lengthy investigation process, based on the legal facts obtained during the investigation process, then based on valid evidence as regulated in the Criminal Procedure Code, investigators have named a suspect and carried out case filings regarding the case in question,” said Director of Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Iman Imanuddin in a press conference, Thursday (18/12).

Iman explained that the special case title was followed by all related parties, from the reported party, reporter, internal supervisor to external supervisor.
Iman said that after this particular case was filed, investigators from the Sub-Directorate for the Ministry of State and Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya would immediately complete the suspect’s case file to be handed over to the prosecutor’s office.
According to him, if Roy Suryo Cs still has objections to their designation as suspects, they are welcome to file a pretrial lawsuit.
“As for the determination of suspects that we have carried out, if the suspects or their legal representatives object, they are welcome to carry out trials through pre-trial mechanisms as regulated in the Criminal Procedure Code,” he said.
Polda Metro Jaya has named eight suspects divided into two clusters related to the alleged case of Jokowi’s fake diploma.
The first cluster consists of five suspects, namely Eggi Sudjana, Kurnia Tri Rohyani, Damai Hari Lubis, Rustam Effendi and Muhammad Rizal Fadillah.
Then the second cluster consisted of three suspects, namely Roy Suryo, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar and Tifauziah Tyassuma alias Dr Tifa.
Most recently, Polda Metro Jaya is known to have also banned Roy Suryo and seven other suspects from leaving the country.Apart from being banned, the suspects are also required to report once a week every Thursday.
