Khozinudin also said that of the total of 723 items confiscated by the police in this case, they could not prove that Roy Suryo cs had defamed Jokowi.
“It will never be known for certain whether the evidence can corroborate the accusation of defamation, the accusation of attacking honor reported by brother Joko Widodo. Even though there is 700 pieces of evidence, there are 130 witnesses and 22 experts, all of them are investigators’ version. If it has no relevance then it is worthless,” he said.
On the same occasion, Rismon actually challenged the police to prove that he, Roy Suryo and Dr. Tifa had edited Jokowi’s diploma.
Rismon also stated that he would sue the police for Rp. 126 trillion if he failed to prove the accusation.
“The issue of whether we are ready or not (to be examined as suspects), investigators should be better prepared to accuse us of editing or fabricating, whichever we engineered, if that is not proven then I plan to sue the police for IDR 126 trillion, one year’s police budget,” he said.
Previously, Polda Metro Jaya named eight suspects divided into two clusters in connection with the alleged case of Jokowi’s fake diploma.
The first cluster consists of five suspects, namely Eggi Sudjana, Kurnia Tri Rohyani, Damai Hari Lubis, Rustam Effendi and Muhammad Rizal Fadillah.

Then the second cluster consisted of three suspects, namely Roy Suryo, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar and Tifauziah Tyassuma alias Dr Tifa.
The three of them were charged with Article 310 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 311 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 32 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 48 paragraph 1 and/or Article 35 in conjunction with Article 51 paragraph 1 and/or Article 27a in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 4 and/or Article 28 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 45a paragraph 2 of the ITE Law.
In this case, investigators said Roy Suryo cs had spread false accusations and misled the public. This conclusion is based on the results of examination of 130 witnesses and 22 experts, including an in-depth examination of 723 pieces of evidence.
