There are a total of eight suspects in the case and all of them have been banned from leaving the country.Apart from being banned, the suspects are also required to report once a week every Thursday.
“Yes, because he has suspect status, he is obliged to report and be banned,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto when confirmed, Thursday (20/11).

Budi said that the request to ban Roy Suryo cs was immediately submitted after they officially assumed the status of suspects.
Furthermore, Budi revealed the reason investigators banned Roy Suryo cs to prevent them from leaving the country during the legal process.
“They have suspect status, which means that this is to prevent them from going abroad, if they go out of town they can, but as long as they are required to report, they have to be present,” said Budi.
Previously, Polda Metro Jaya named eight suspects divided into two clusters in connection with the alleged case of Jokowi’s fake diploma.
The first cluster consists of five suspects, namely Eggi Sudjana, Kurnia Tri Rohyani, Damai Hari Lubis, Rustam Effendi and Muhammad Rizal Fadillah.
They were charged with Article 310 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 311 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 160 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 27a in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 4 and/or Article 28 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 45a Paragraph 2 of the ITE Law.
Then the second cluster consisted of three suspects, namely Roy Suryo, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar and Tifauziah Tyassuma alias Dr Tifa.
The three of them were charged with Article 310 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 311 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 32 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 48 paragraph 1 and/or Article 35 in conjunction with Article 51 paragraph 1 and/or Article 27a in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 4 and/or Article 28 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 45a paragraph 2 of the ITE Law.
On Friday (14/11), Roy Suryo, Rismon and doctor Tifa were questioned for the first time as suspects.Investigators asked the three of them 377 questions during an examination that lasted more than nine hours.
