Vladimir Putin
opened his voice in response to the peace proposal between Moscow and Ukraine proposed by United States President Donald Trump.
Putin saw that the US included Russia’s position in the proposal.However, he said there were several other points that required serious discussion.

He said that after negotiations between the US delegation and Ukraine in Geneva, the two sides decided to divide the proposal into four parts.
“As I have announced publicly, the peace plan has been sent to us via special channels,” Putin said at a press conference in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, quoted from

“After that, negotiations were held in Geneva between the American and Ukrainian delegations. And, as I understand it, they decided that all these 28 points should be divided into four components,” Putin said.
Putin said he did not anticipate pressure from America and expressed surprise when the US imposed sanctions on Russian oil companies.
He admitted he “didn’t even understand what was happening” because there was no conflict situation between Russia and the US.
Assuring Russia’s readiness to start a peace agreement with Ukraine, Putin once again questioned the legitimacy of Ukrainian authorities by emphasizing that Volodymyr Zelensky’s presidential term expires in 2024.
Putin believes that only Ukraine’s parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, has the right to continue power by declaring the country’s emergency status.
He also reiterated that peace could be achieved if the Ukrainian military withdrew from areas of the country that were controlled by Russian troops.
“If they don’t leave, we will reach them with armed force,” Putin said.
On that occasion, Putin also leaked a meeting between the Russian delegation and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, at the initiative of Kyiv.He also said that the meeting was apparently attended by “representatives of the US government.”
“The presence of US representatives in Abu Dhabi was certainly surprising,” Putin said.
He said the US had informed Russia that Washington would send a delegation to Moscow next week.He said that the composition of the delegation was “entirely Washington’s decision.”
