Suryo Utomo was questioned on Tuesday (25/11) regarding his previous position as Expert Staff to the Minister of Finance for Tax Compliance.This concerns the alleged corruption case in tax payments for the 2016-2020 period which involved former Director General of Taxes Ken Dwijugiasteadi, the DJP’s number one person at that time.
Apart from Suryo, investigators took information from the Head of KPP Madya Dua Semarang Bernadette Ning Dijah Prananingrum (BNDP).
“The witness examined by SU is a former Expert Staff to the Minister of Finance for Tax Compliance and former Director General of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance,” said Head of the Attorney General’s Legal Information Center Anang Supriatna in a written statement.
