claimed he had prepared IDR 1 trillion for regional government (Pemda) incentives.
“There are already funds for that (regional government incentives), IDR 1 trillion is provided for rewards like that, he said they already exist,” said Purbaya after the 2025 Bank Indonesia Annual Meeting (PTBI) at Grha Bhasvara Icchana, Central Jakarta, Friday (28/11).

However, Purbaya said there was a request for additional regional government incentives proposed by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto.The State Treasurer emphasized that he did not really know the details of the allocation of the additional funds.
Purbaya only emphasized that the incentives would only be given in 2026. This is because the budget for regional government incentives this year has already run out.
“So, Mr (Airlangga) wants to give additional rewards, perhaps for economic growth or job creation. (Regional governments) that can create jobs will be given incentives, said Mr Airlangga, but I don’t know the details,” he explained.
Previously, Coordinating Minister Airlangga said incentives would be distributed to regional governments who won the 2025 Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) Award. Apart from that, incentive recipients were those who succeeded in accelerating the digitalization of regional finances or winners of the TP2DD Championship.
“Earlier, Mr. Minister of Finance (Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa), I asked if the funds were available. The amount is not too big, Mr. President (Prabowo Subianto), approximately IDR 786 billion to be distributed,” said Airlangga in his speech at PTBI 2025.
“So, this incentive is the government’s appreciation or support for regional governments that have maintained price stability and encouraged regional digitalization,” added the man who is also trusted as Chair of the Central Inflation Control Team (TPIP) and Chair of the Task Force for the Acceleration and Expansion of Regional Digitalization (TP2DD).
