The two of them discussed the stock and readiness of 3 kg LPG for the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year (Nataru) holidays.
This was conveyed by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dwi Anggia, after the closed meeting between the two ministers ended.

“Discuss LPG readiness for Nataru until the end of 2025 plus the prognosis for 3 kg LPG until the end of this year,” said Anggia at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
According to him, the results of the meeting agreed that the projected distribution of subsidies this year would exceed the quota set at 8.17 million metric tons in the 2025 APBN. According to calculations, the need for subsidized gas would reach 8.5 million tons.
“The prognosis is that until 2025 there is a need for 8.5 million metric tons. So there will be an addition, over (quota) 0.37 million or around 370 thousand (metric tons),” he explained.
However, Anggia emphasized that even though there was an increase in the LPG quota, the subsidy budget did not increase.The reason is, the price of LPG is below that set in the APBN.
“But what is certain is that there will probably be no additional subsidies because the price is below the APBN indicator, right? The quota increase, but there will be no additional subsidy,” he explained.
Overall, he emphasized that the need for LPG and fuel for Nataru is very safe.Pertamina has also confirmed its readiness to provide energy for the community during the New Year period.
“At our last fuel meeting last Friday, the preparations were all okay. Pertamina stated its readiness to fulfill the community’s needs regarding fuel for Christmas and New Year. Practically everything is safe ahead of Christmas,” concluded Anggia.
