PTPN IV continues to strive to contribute to accelerating the recovery of areas affected by the Sumatra disaster.
One of the areas receiving assistance from the PTPN IV Care for Natural Disasters program is Limapuluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra.
PTPN IV distributed humanitarian aid to residents affected by floods and landslides.This assistance was directed to a number of points that still needed logistical support, especially in Gunuang Omeh and Jorong Aie Angek Districts.

“We hereby convey PTPN Peduli’s humanitarian assistance to natural disasters for the West Sumatra region, which I convey to the 50 City districts, Gunung Aomeh District and also the Bukit Barisan District,” said Khayamudin Panjaitan, Region Head of PTPN IV Regional IV, in an official statement.
“Hopefully this can ease the burden on our brothers and sisters and everyone around here. We pray that Allah will make things easier for us. Hopefully, this convenience will bring goodness to all of us,” he added.
The aid distributed includes diapers for children and the elderly, blankets, sarongs, mats, tarpaulins, folding mattresses and pillows.For food needs, the company distributes rice, sugar, instant noodles and ready-to-eat food.
