“This activity is a form of the company’s concern for disaster victims by carrying out the spirit of Caring and Sharing-Solidarity Without Borders,” said Head of PTPN I Regional 1 Secretariat and Public Relations Subdivision, Rahmat Kurniawan in Medan, Monday (1/12) as quoted by Antara.
The first phase of aid distribution was carried out on Saturday (29/11) at the Family Welfare Empowerment Building (PKK) of the Deli Serdang Regency Government.

PTPN I Regional 1 handed over assistance in the form of 250 bags of 5 kg rice, 400 boxes of instant noodles, 300 boxes of mineral water cups, 450 packs of 1 kg granulated sugar, 100 egg boards.
The next day, Sunday (30/11), PTPN I Regional 1 continued the second phase of assistance at the Langkat Regency Flood Disaster Management Post, located at the Stabat District Head Office.The basic food assistance handed over included 250 bags of 5 kg rice, 400 boxes of instant noodles, 300 boxes of mineral water cups, 100 egg plates.
“This assistance is a form of corporate social responsibility in helping communities affected by disasters,” he said.
PTPN I Regional 1 emphasized its commitment to continue to support communities in the company’s operational areas, especially in emergency situations of natural disasters.The spirit of togetherness, solidarity and care is the basis for implementing this assistance.
It is hoped that the basic food assistance provided can help ease the burden on the people in Deli Serdang and Langkat, especially in conditions where food supplies are starting to become limited due to the flooding that has hit.
