Zainudin Amali responded to the issue of Timur Kapadze being a candidate for coach of the Indonesian National Team.
“Okay, yes, we listened to several names. Yes, several names. But until now we at the Exco have not received any information. Because in the organizational mechanism, if there is an important decision, we must decide through the Exco. OK. Well, if it is there, friends will definitely be instructed. So I can’t give a response whether it’s true or not. Because we at the Exco haven’t received that,” said Zainudin Amali on Friday (14/11).
However, Zainudin said that PSSI was open to receiving existing input.

“So, regarding the East, maybe that is what is being aspired to. The aspiration is not just the East. There is also an aspiration for STY to return, right?” said Zainudin.
“Well, for us, this is input for PSSI and we will determine the best one for the national team. Because we hope that for this senior national team we will soon get a potential coach,” added Zainudin.
Zainudin admitted that there was no Indonesian national team coach to replace Patrick Kluivert, meaning the Red and White team did not play a match on FIFA Matchday.
“Because friends know that the current FIFA Matchday [November] has been missed. Because we don’t have a coach yet. So we will fill it tomorrow with Indra Sjafri’s [Indonesian U-23 National Team] team against Mali. So, but there are no points, it won’t count for anything,” said Zainudin.
