Deputy Chairperson of PSSI, Ratu Tisha Destria asked the Indonesian U-23 National Team players to concentrate on the deciding match in Group C for men’s football
SEA Games 2025
against Myanmar, Thursday (11/12).
The Indonesian U-23 national team is scheduled to face Myanmar at the 700th Anniversary Stadium, Chiang Mai, Friday (12/12) at 18.00 WIB.The Garuda Muda squad must win in order to maintain their hopes of qualifying for the semifinals, even though the possibility is not great.
“What we need to do is evaluate, improve, and the players face and win the match, that’s all,” said Tisha in Jakarta, Wednesday (10/12).

“There is still a match tomorrow, they have to concentrate. There are no words other than that,” he added.
Tisha emphasized that Indra Sjafri’s team does not need to worry about the dynamics in other groups which have a greater chance of qualifying.He hopes that the U-23 Indonesian National Team will go all out against Myanmar.
“The main thing is to focus, whatever the tournament. There are definitely still many shortcomings, for sure. That’s for sure because nothing is perfect, but we have to face it match by match,” he said.
A burning message was also conveyed by the coach of the Indonesian U-20 National Team, Nova Arianto.He wants Garuda Muda to remain confident amidst the narrow opportunity to qualify.
“If I say we have to believe, yes, we have to believe, once again it’s the same, we have to have a dream that we can still win the SEA Games, and never care about anything, because I’m sure they have all given their best,” he said.
“And the hope is that in our last match in public and regardless of the result of the match from Vietnam, Malaysia, I think we have to be positive that we will be able to win,” he emphasized.
