This figure was revealed in the initial trial of the indictment against the three defendants in this case at the Corruption Crime Court (Tipikor), Jakarta, Tuesday (16/12).
The three are, Ministry of Education and Culture Technology Consultant Ibrahim Arief;former Director of Elementary Schools (SD), Sri Wahyuningsih, and former Director of Junior High Schools (SMP), Mulyatsyah.

Meanwhile, Nadiem, who was originally scheduled to undergo trial, was suddenly absent because he was undergoing treatment after surgery.
Prosecutors said the figure of Rp. 2.1 trillion was an accumulation of a number of losses.IDR 1.5 trillion each from 25 parties who received benefits from the project, and IDR 600 billion specifically for the procurement of chromebooks and chrome device management (CDM).
“The loss to state finances amounted to IDR 1,567,888,662,716 based on the Audit Report of Calculation of State Financial Losses in cases of alleged criminal acts of corruption in the education digitalization program at the Ministry of Education and Culture for 2019 to 2022 from the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPKP RI),” said the prosecutor.
