This Timor Leste coach’s full name is Emral bin Bustamam.Emral was born in December 1958 in Batang Kapas, West Sumatra, Indonesia.

He is known as an instructor who has produced many football coaches in Indonesia.In the realm of his academic career, he is a lecturer in the sports education department at Padang State University (UNP).
Emral is one of the instructors of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in Indonesia.He became shadow coach in 2015 for Persib Bandung in the AFC Cup.Emral is recorded as having polished the names of coaches such as Djadjang Nurdjaman, Indra Sjafri, Aji Santoso, Nil Maizar, Salahudin, Jafri Sastra and Kas Hartadi.
In 2001, Emral became a physical trainer for PSPS Pekanbaru.With the same position as physical trainer, he continued as a physical trainer for PSDS Deli Serdang until finally returning to his career at PSPS becoming Technical Director in 2005.
In 2017, Emral became interim coach for Persib.He then served as head coach and Technical Director for Bhayangkara FC in 2023 and 2024. He was also head coach and Technical Director of PSBS Biak in the same year, namely 2025.
Emral continued his career as head coach of the Timor Leste U-16 Women’s National Team and is now the architect of Timor Leste U-23 at the 2025 SEA Games.
