Until now, floods and landslides in a number of areas in Sumatra have resulted in hundreds of people dying and thousands of people being displaced.

(SPA), Prince MbS through his official statement sent a message of deep condolences to President Prabowo.

In the telegram, MbS expressed his deep condolences and sincere sympathy to the President of the Republic of Indonesia and all the families of the victims.
“(Prince MbS) prays that Allah SWT will bestow His mercy on the victims, grant healing to the injured, and pray that the missing can safely return to their families,” the statement said.
From the United Arab Emirates, President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MbZ) also sent a similar message to Prabowo, after floods and landslides in the Sumatra region resulted in deaths and injuries.

Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Monday (1/12) expressed his deep sorrow over the disaster which claimed lives and injured.
“The flood and landslide disaster that hit the Sumatra region, which resulted in many deaths and injuries among Muslims in this friendly and brotherly country, is very sad for me,” he said, as quoted

Pezeshkian expressed sympathy and prayers for the dead and a speedy recovery for the injured.
He also said Iran is ready to provide comprehensive humanitarian and recovery assistance to the affected areas.
The leader of Oman, Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, also expressed his condolences to Prabowo after hearing about flood victims in the Tapanuli area, North Sumatra.
Reporting from the Foreign Ministry of Oman, the Sultan prayed that the victims injured by the natural disaster would recover quickly.
