failed to achieve an important victory after being dramatically matched by Bournemouth 4-4 in the match week 16 of the Premier League, Tuesday (14/12) early morning WIB.The following is the Premier League standings after MU was detained by Bournemouth.
Man United plays Bournemouth in the hope of winning and getting closer to the European zone in the Premier League standings.
The opportunity to win was seen after Amad Diallo scored a goal that put MU ahead in the 13th minute.

Even though they were the visiting team, Bournemouth put up fierce resistance.Antoine Semenyo scored the 1-1 equalizer in the 40th minute.
Towards halftime, the Red Devils regained a 2-1 lead thanks to Casemiro’s header in the 45+4 minute.MU was 2-1 ahead of Bournemouth in the first half.
The second half had only been running for 30 seconds, Bournemouth equalized the score at 2-2 thanks to Evanilson’s kick in the 46th minute.
It was Bournemouth’s turn to take a 3-2 lead in the 52nd minute through Marcu Travernier’s left-footed free kick.
MU responded to the goal with Bruno Fernandes’ beautiful free kick in the 77th minute which changed the position to a 3-3 draw.
The team coached by Ruben Amorim came back and took a 4-3 lead thanks to Matheus Cunha’s right foot kick from inside the penalty box in the 79th minute.
However, MU’s victory that was in sight was lost after Eli Kroupi brought the score back to a 4-4 draw in the 84th minute.The score lasted until the match was over.
With the addition of one point, MU failed to reach the European zone in the Premier League standings, at least in fifth place, displacing Crystal Palace, who are currently in the Europa League position.
This one point means Man United is stuck in sixth place in the Premier League standings, the same as last week.
