Pratikno said that a number of strategic routes in Aceh were starting to be passable.Such as the Lhokseumawe-Langsa, Langsa-Kuala Simpang, Kuala Simpang-North Sumatra sections.
Then, Jalan KKA Bener Meriah-Takengon, up to the Banda Aceh, Central Aceh route via Blangkejeren, began to open again.
He said that the government also continues to make improvements to improve traffic flow.
Furthermore, in North Sumatra, connectivity in areas such as Padangsidimpuan, South Tapanuli, Mandailing Natal and Central Tapanuli has largely recovered.
However, he still reminded that there were still landslides and collapsed roads there.
“Cleaning and repair efforts continue to be carried out with the support of heavy equipment and the erection of bailey bridges,” he said.
Then, in West Sumatra.Pratikno said the recovery process was almost complete.Where, the Padang-Bukittinggi national road via the Anai Valley has reached repair progress of around 90 percent.
Apart from that, the Padang Pariaman-Agam route via Malalak is also largely accessible although it still requires further treatment at a number of points.
Not only transportation access, Pratikno said that the electricity and communications networks in the three provinces were also gradually recovering.
“Even in remote areas, we still rely on the support of emergency devices such as Starlink, HT radio and satellite telephones,” he said.
Likewise with the availability of fuel and gas, according to him, in general the supply in the affected areas is starting to gradually stabilize.
“For the provision of clean water, most of the services in West Sumatra and North Sumatra have been served again, although several districts/cities in Aceh Province still need air assistance via tanks, public hydrants and emergency air facilities due to damaged piping systems and polluted air sources,” he said.
