“I ask for the handling to be fast, it must be completed in five days, so as not to disrupt supplies or procurement to welcome Christmas and New Year,” said Pramono at the Kramat Jati Main Market, East Jakarta, Tuesday (16/12).
Pramono said the temporary location for the traders was 100 meters from the fire location.This location was chosen so that traders could still sell as usual.

Meanwhile, for the kiosk that caught fire, he said that Pasar Jaya provided insurance for renovations.
Pramono said there were 350 kiosks in the place occupied by approximately 121 traders, with a total area of ​​6,196 square meters.
From the results of calculations, he said that losses due to the fire were estimated at IDR 10 billion.
Meanwhile, Perumda Pasar Jaya has moved to prepare temporary shelter for traders affected by the fire at the Kramat Jati Main Market.
“We are coordinating to prepare a shelter for traders so they can return to trading,” said Perumda Pasar Jaya Main Director Agus Himawan.
The shelter is targeted to be ready to be used within the next three days so that trading activities can continue.
Agus said that the temporary shelter would be built in the temporary shelter (TPS) area on the south side of the Kramat Jati Main Market.
The site preparation work has also been carried out starting today, and is being carried out for 24 hours.
On the other hand, he said that trading activities in the Central Market area generally continued to run normally after the fire, and people could still shop ahead of Christmas and New Year.
IDR 5 million assistance for 121 traders
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also provided assistance to 121 traders affected by the fire at the Kramat Jati Main Market, amounting to IDR 5 million for each trader.
“We are providing assistance to traders, 121 traders, yes, Rp. 5 million per trader so that they can survive for these five days,” said Pramono.
Apart from financial assistance, he also targets that the construction of temporary trader shelters at the Kramat Jati Main Market can be completed within five days.
The temporary shelter location was located not far from the trader’s old kiosk which caught fire.
Pramono said the location was chosen so that traders could still sell well even though they experienced a disaster.
Meanwhile, for the kiosk that caught fire, he revealed that Pasar Jaya would provide insurance for renovations.
He said there were 350 stalls in the market occupied by approximately 121 traders, with a total area of ​​6,196 square meters.
Even though there was a fire at the market on Monday (15/12), he assessed that the incident did not affect the stock of bananas and papaya in the capital.
“Because our stock is actually a bit excessive, so what happens in the field doesn’t interfere at all with the stock shortage in Jakarta,” said Pramono.
