Uus Kuswanto
as Regional Secretary (Sekda) DKI Jakarta replacing Marullah Matali who retired, Monday (1/12).
“Today I inaugurated the Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta, Mr. Uus Kuswanto, who I have appointed as Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta Province in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 184/TPA of 2025 signed on November 21,” said Pramono at Jakarta City Hall, Monday.
Pramono expressed his thanks to Marullah who has served 29 years at City Hall.

Meanwhile, he believes that Uus will be able to work together with him and Deputy Governor Rano Karno to develop Jakarta.
“I need an accomplished administrator, who is strong, because for substance and so on, of course with my long experience as someone who has worked in the Central Government for 25 years, I know what I need,” he said.
Pramono admitted that he would appoint an official to replace Uus as Mayor of West Jakarta.
“The PLT will definitely be there tomorrow. We will announce it later,” he said.
Uus is known to have served as Mayor of West Jakarta.He has also served as Acting Regional Secretary for the 2022-2023 period.
