Sara admitted that it was not easy to make the decision to resign as a member of the DPR.He said that many parties had spent a lot of money and worked hard to get a seat in the DPR.
Sara said that during the demonstration, she had to evacuate her children from their house because they were targets for looting.

“It wasn’t easy when I had to evacuate the children from the house because they were one of the targets for looting. It wasn’t easy when I realized that the reputation I had built with hard work and integrity could be so easily damaged by disinformation and paid people (some of my friends were even taken in by this framing),” said Sara in a post on her personal Instagram account, Sunday (9/11).
On the other hand, President Prabowo Subianto’s nephew admitted that he still did not know how to respond to the decision of the Council of Honor Court (MKD) which rejected his resignation as a member of the DPR.
He asked all parties to give him time to make a decision.
“Therefore, with permission and without reducing my respect to the party and faction leaders, as well as to the electoral district constituents, figures and seniors who have asked me to return. I ask for time to make a decision so as not to be careless,” he said.
MKD previously rejected his resignation in a decision announced on Thursday.MKD said Sara had never officially submitted a request to resign.
Second, Sara is said to have never committed any violation, except for her statement which went viral in February 2025.
“Well, the Party Court’s decision was then sent to the MKD. After being examined by the MKD, and there was no reporting at the MKD, it finally confirmed the decision,” said the Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad when contacted, Thursday (30/10).
