said the construction of 300 thousand bridges in various areas in response to the many students in villages who have difficulty accessing, even risking safety, due to the lack of infrastructure connecting to schools.
Prabowo, when giving a speech at the Bank Indonesia Annual Meeting (PTBI), Friday (28/11), showed a video telling about the conditions of students who have to cross rivers every day.
This is sad because Indonesia’s growth figures are very good but every day wet children enter the river.

“The growth figures are very good, but every day our people, our children go into wet rivers every day, sit in wet classes, come home wet,” said Prabowo.
He said the sound from the field prompted him to take quick steps.He revealed that he had instructed the cabinet to speed up the construction of pedestrian bridges for students in remote areas.
Prabowo also announced the formation of a Bridge Emergency Task Force involving various state elements.He ordered the Minister of Higher Education to mobilize universities to help with the design and planning of the bridge.
Prabowo also said that the TNI and Polri, especially all Engineer Battalions and construction companies, needed to go directly to priority points.All relevant ministries and institutions also need to speed up execution without long-winded procedures.
“There are no more seminars, no symposiums. We do it. We finish it. Our children scream, we have to answer,” said President Prabowo.
