“The lights are on soon?”Prabowo asked while giving information at the location.
“It’s on tonight, sir, everyone, tonight,” said Bahlil in response to Prabowo.
Bahlil explained that electricity in most of Aceh Province or 93 percent of the province could operate tonight.
“All of Aceh, 93 percent, tonight Aceh is all lit up, sir,” said Bahlil.
On the previous occasion, President Prabowo Subianto ordered his staff to ensure that electricity connections return to disaster-affected areas in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra no later than Sunday (7/12) evening.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, when contacted in Jakarta, Saturday (6/12) evening, explained that President Prabowo gave the order at a limited meeting with a number of ministers, PLN Main Director Darmawan Prasodjo, and heads of institutions at the President’s private residence, Bukit Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java.
“In West Sumatra the electricity is almost completely turned on, while in North Sumatra there are still several points, such as in Langkat and Tapanuli, where the electricity has not been turned on. Likewise in several areas in Aceh. The President also ordered that no later than tomorrow evening, the electricity must be fully turned on,” said Cabinet Secretary Teddy explaining President Prabowo’s order to his staff during a limited meeting on Saturday (6/12).
