ordered all regional heads not to mobilize school students to welcome him during his work visit.
This was conveyed by Prabowo when inaugurating the bridge infrastructure,
underpass

flyover
in Bantul, Yogyakarta, on Wednesday (19/11) afternoon.

Prabowo initially admitted that he was impressed and grateful because he was greeted by enthusiastic residents and students along the road to the inauguration location.
However, he felt sorry if the students had to stand and wait too long for his arrival.Especially if they have to wait under the hot sun because the visit takes place during the day.
“Thank you, I was welcomed by the people and many school children. I was impressed, but I also felt sorry for them standing for a long time, it was hot,” he said.
Apart from the heat, Prabowo said it was not uncommon for his convoy of vehicles to travel at high speed.In the car moving quickly Prabowo said he couldn’t greet the people who were waiting.
For this reason, he admitted that he had asked Cabinet Secretary Lt. Col. Teddy Indra Wijaya to write to all regional heads to no longer mobilize students with the intention of welcoming him.
“Let them go to their respective schools. If they want to see it, maybe on TV and if I want to check it, I’ll just go into the classroom,” he said.
Even so, Prabowo admitted that he was very happy to see the enthusiasm of residents and students on the side of the road on every visit.
“Every time I see the faces of the people, the faces of the children, I also get more enthusiastic. I feel younger because of their energy,” he explained.
“But I feel sorry for them if they wait a long time in the hot sun and I’m also worried that this will reduce their school hours,” he added.
