In the Presidential Secretariat’s live YouTube, Prabowo was seen giving a speech and praising PM Albanese when he was warmly welcomed.
“Thank you very much for receiving me so cheerfully. I think you are very intelligent, and you know I like bagpipe music, and today I was welcomed with bagpipes. Thank you very much,” Prabowo said to Albanese, laughing.
After finishing their speeches, Prabowo and Albanese shook hands and gathered together after making a short speech on the HMAS Canberra ship.
The meeting that took place between the two countries was aimed at completing an important agreement on the defense and safety of both countries.
According to PM Anthony Albanese, this agreement is the best way to maintain peace and stability by acting together.This marks a new era in Australia-Indonesia relations.
“We are taking the opportunity to enhance our friendship. We are committed to maintaining good relations, to improving and ensuring the safety of our countries. I think that is our goal,” said Prabowo on the Presidential Secretariat’s live YouTube.
According to Prabowo, he believes in policies with good colleagues is important.
In Indonesian culture, when we are faced with fear, a good sibling will help.
PM Albanese also said he hopes to pay a visit to Indonesia in January next year at the invitation of the President to officially sign this new agreement after a domestic process in our country.
