Arkana Wiwarta Prajanugraha is the highest award given by the Central Information Commission for the best national public agency.
The presence of elements of leadership and management of the public relations function and PPID is a strong indicator of openness of public information carried out by the National Police not only as a fulfillment of regulatory obligations, but as part of accountable organizational governance.
Chairman of the Indonesian Central Information Commission, Donny Yoesgiantoro, said that the National Police is considered not only to comply with information disclosure regulations, but also to be able to provide information services that are easily accessible, responsive and oriented to the needs of the community.
“This shows that the National Police is not only administratively compliant, but is also able to provide public information services that are quality, easy to access, and oriented towards the interests of the community,” said Donny.
“We hope that Polri’s achievements can become a role model for other public bodies, both at the ministerial, institutional, regional government and other public bodies, to continue to strengthen information disclosure as part of good governance,” he added.
