The explosion occurred at around 14.00 WITA.The origin of the explosion was in the kitchen.The South Sulawesi Police Mobile Brigade Gegana Team went to the location and immediately carried out further inspections.
However, Ridwan said that the explosion did not cause any casualties.Only, the glass and walls were damaged.
“There were no casualties,” he said.
Separately, a resident, Iswanti (61) admitted that he was shocked when he heard an explosion big enough to make his whole house shake.
“I was in the house when I heard the sound of an explosion, then I came out of the house and saw that the coffee shop had a lot of glass scattered,” said Iswanti at the location.
Iswanti admitted that he only heard this large explosion once, so residents around the location were shocked.
“There was only one explosion at the back of the warkop,” he said.
The police have now installed a police line at the cafe.Investigations are still ongoing to determine the exact cause of the explosion.
