“Our task is also to build public awareness about the importance of orderly administration and traffic discipline. Gen Z is a strategic partner to instill these values through a digital approach,” he said in a written statement, Monday (17/11).
Wibowo explained that his party had indeed innovated to make public services easier, more transparent and accountable through digital service systems such as SINAR and SIGNAL.
However, he said, the success of digital systems does not only depend on technology, but also on public awareness and participation, especially the younger generation.
“Technology is just a tool, what determines whether it is successful or not is the people. Therefore, we want Gen Z to become pioneers of orderly vehicle administration, obedient road users, and agents of digital literacy in the traffic sector,” he explained.
Through the Digital Traffic Ambassador program, Korlantas will invite pupils, students and young creative communities to play an active role in public education regarding driving safety and vehicle administration compliance.
These Ambassadors, he said, will later be able to contribute through creative campaigns on social media, creating educational content, and field activities such as safety and literacy training for Resident Services.
“We want a culture of order to be born from awareness, not because of sanctions. Gen Z can be a bridge between the National Police and society to foster the values of discipline and shared responsibility,” he said.
Wibowo hopes that the involvement of Gen Z will increase public trust while fostering a culture of orderly traffic in the digital era.
“Traffic Security and Traffic Security is not just a matter for the police, but a matter for all of us and the future of road safety is in the hands of the younger generation,” he concluded.
