Cs to file a pretrial lawsuit if they still do not accept their status as a suspect in the alleged fake diploma case of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (
Jokowi
).
This was conveyed by the Director of Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Iman Imanunddin, following the results of a special case in which Roy Suryo Cs remained as a suspect.
“We have carried out the determination of suspects, if the suspects or their legal representatives object, they are welcome to carry out trials through pre-trial mechanisms as regulated in the Criminal Procedure Code,” said Iman in a press conference, Thursday (18/12).

Iman said that the investigation process in this case had been carried out transparently, professionally and proportionally.Because, he said, investigators from the Subdit Kamneg Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya had carried out two cases, assisted twice from Bareskrim Polri and held special cases according to the suspects’ requests.
“This is of course intended so that the handling of the case in question, both formally and materially, can maintain professionalism,” he said.
Not only that, Iman said that his party had also fulfilled the request of the Roy Suryo Cs camp to show Jokowi’s original diploma from the Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Faculty of Forestry.
It is known that Jokowi’s diploma, which had been confiscated by investigators, was shown to Roy Suryo CS during the case process, last Monday (15/12).
Apart from that, Iman also revealed that his party had confiscated 17 types of evidence, 709 documents, and 22 expert statements from various scientific fields which were used as the basis for the criminal elements in the case.
Including fulfilling requests from the suspects who asked to be shown the original diploma from President Jokowi which had been officially issued by the Faculty of Forestry, Gadjah Mada University (UGM.
“Once again we convey to our colleagues that on the occasion of this case the investigator has shown a diploma in the name of Joko Widodo issued by the Faculty of Forestry UGM,” said Iman.
Polda Metro Jaya has named eight suspects divided into two clusters related to the alleged case of Jokowi’s fake diploma.
The first cluster consists of five suspects, namely Eggi Sudjana, Kurnia Tri Rohyani, Damai Hari Lubis, Rustam Effendi and Muhammad Rizal Fadillah.
Then the second cluster consisted of three suspects, namely Roy Suryo, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar and Tifauziah Tyassuma alias Dr Tifa.
Most recently, Polda Metro Jaya is known to have also banned Roy Suryo and seven other suspects from leaving the country.Apart from being banned, the suspects are also required to report once a week every Thursday.
