Polda Metro Jaya revealed the chronology of the death of Alex Iskandar, the boy’s stepfather

“First he wore shorts that were given to him by investigators. Because he was not allowed to wear trousers. Because the shorts were dirty, he asked to change into trousers,” he said at a press conference, Monday (24/11).
“Discovered by his colleague with the initials G, looking at the door there was a glass blade in the middle, seeing the suspect in a condition where he had lost his life by hanging himself,” he added.
Previously, the police revealed Alex Iskandar’s motive for kidnapping and killing his stepson Alvaro Kiano Nugroho (6) and dumping him in the Tenjo area, Bogor, West Java.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Budi Hermanto, said that from the results of examining digital evidence, the perpetrator was suspected of having the urge to take revenge against his wife because he was upset about being cheated on.
“Investigators found that there were strong indications of the perpetrator’s urge to take revenge (because he was upset about being cheated on). This occurred repeatedly, causing pain to certain parties,” he said at a press conference, Monday (24/11).
Budi said it was because of that motive that the perpetrator kidnapped his stepson at a mosque in the Pesanggrahan area, on March 6 2025. At the time of the kidnapping, he said the victim cried non-stop so he was smothered until he died.
He explained that the perpetrator then put the victim’s body in the car garage of his house for three days after kidnapping the victim.After that, Alex put Alvaro’s body in black plastic and took it to the Tenjo area, Bogor to be thrown away.
“The perpetrator wrapped the body in a black plastic bag and threw it in the Tenjo area, at the Cilalay Bridge on March 9 2025 at night or 3 days after it was discovered that AKN was missing,” he said.
