Forest Area Control Task Force (PKH
) prepared a total of 8,077 hectares (Ha) to relocate residents in the Tesso Nilo National Park area, Riau.
This was conveyed by Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin to the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto during the ceremony to hand over Rp. 6.6 trillion from the PKH Task Force to the state.

He explained that from the results of data collection carried out by the PKH Task Force, seven residential locations were found, including 7 villages in the Tesso Nilo area.With details of 5,733 heads of families with a total of 22,183 residents.
“And the number of houses is 573 buildings. There are 12 schools for educational facilities, 52 houses of worship and 12 health facilities,” he said.
Burhanuddin explained that of this number, 1,465 heads of families had registered to take part in the PKH Task Force relocation program.
He added that the process of relocating residents has also begun to be carried out in stages.Starting with 227 heads of families on December 20 2025 from an oil palm plantation area of 6,330.78 hectares.
