Park Joo Bong (PJB) reveals the secret behind Korea’s success in
BWF World Tour
this season, including winning three titles at the BWF World Tour Finals.
Korea became the overall champion at the 2025 BWF World Tour Finals with three championship titles.An Se Young, Kim Won Ho/Seo Seung Jae, and Baek Ha Na/Lee So Hee managed to become champions.

Apart from the three titles at the BWF World Tour Finals, An Se Young and Kim/Seo have looked crazy this season.An Se Young won 11 championship titles while Kim/Seo won 10 titles together.Seo Seung Jae himself had another title when he played with Jin Yong at the Thailand Masters.
Regarding this, PJB believes that there is a good atmosphere in the Korean badminton environment currently.This is different compared to last year when An Se Young had problems with the Korean Badminton Association (KBA).
“I think the national team and association have created an environment where players can train comfortably, which then creates conditions so they can focus more.”
“I also think that the problems and issues related to sponsorship have been resolved as the players wanted so that is a big motivation,” said PJB.
Park Joo Bong himself coached in Japan for a long time until the 2024 Paris Olympics.However, then Park Joo Bong was no longer a coach in Japan and then returned to Korea to become head coach of the Korean national team.
