As the spearhead of the Ministry of Villages PDT, TPP is obliged to increase capacity and strengthen a sense of solidity to ensure village development does not go off track along with the utilization of village funds.
“Our service in the Ministry of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions is something that is very valuable and strategic, so we all need to be united. So consolidation becomes relevant because if it is not in harmony, how can we make development from villages successful,” he said when opening the TPP Capacity Building and Consolidation event in Optimizing Village Community Empowerment and Monitoring and Evaluation for the Implementation of the Latest Minister of Village Regulation 294/2025 at the Wyndham Hotel Surabaya, Monday (22/12).

“I ask the TPP because you are the spearhead of the Ministry of Villages. I believe that your role is very strategic and really determines Indonesia’s future by developing villages. Don’t let yourself feel inferior or don’t let this job become an escape or a side job,” added Minister of Villages Yandri.
Not only solid and capable of capacity, all TPPs were also asked by Yandri to comply with regulations, one of which is contained in Decree of the Minister of Village 294/2025 concerning Technical Instructions for Assistance to Village Communities.Mendes Yandri believes that orderly regulations are the main asset so that every step of the TPP is in line with its duties and is legally safe.
“We have made a commitment at the Ministry of Village that there will be no buying and selling of positions, bribes for positions. If there is a TPP that is evaluated by us, it is not because there is a bribe, but it follows the rules and we want the village to get better,” he stressed.
Furthermore, to get maximum results, Mendes Yandri asked TPP to make the best use of digital developments. This includes publicizing village conditions without ignoring the rules for using social media.
“Don’t be clueless about social media. At least have Tiktok or Instagram or Twitter or YouTube as a means to publish about your village to the public. There’s no such thing as limited publication because everything can be uploaded in cyberspace, but be careful and play social media wisely, so it’s important to increase capacity,” said Minister Yandri.
This event was attended by 440 TPPs which were targeted to increase capacity as well as serve as a consolidation space so that assistance activities in villages, sub-districts, districts/cities and provinces are more consolidated.
Inviting resource persons who are experts in their fields, this activity was also attended by Head of BPSDM Agustomi Masik, Director General of PEI Tabrani, Director General of PDP Nugroho Setijo Nagoro, Special Staff M Afif Zamroni and Andi Rahmah
