Pakistan
on the verge of open war with neighboring countries,
Afghanistan
, after peace negotiations in Istanbul Türkiye stalled, Wednesday (12/11).
Afghanistan’s rulers, the Taliban, have accused Pakistan of irresponsibility, while Islamabad has accused Kabul of not being able to rely on its promises.

Negotiations ended again without any agreement.Representatives of the two countries blamed each other for cross-border terrorism and security issues.
The Taliban accused the Pakistani government of being “irresponsible and “not in good faith to cooperate.”
“We started talks in good faith and with full authority, but Pakistan is unwilling to take talks seriously and always evades its responsibilities,” Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said.
Mujahid later said that Pakistan was trying to shift all responsibility regarding security issues to Afghanistan.He said that Islamabad’s attitude had stalled the talks again.
Zabihullah Mujahid emphasized that “Afghan soil will not allow it to be used against any country.Kabul will maintain sovereignty at all costs.”
He also said that every Muslim in Pakistan is a brother of Afghanistan.However, he reminded that defending the land of Afghanistan and its people is an obligation in Islamic teachings and any aggression will be met with a strong response.
Meanwhile, Pakistani Defense Minister Khwaja Asif said that talks had reached a deadlock.
“Kabul does not want to move forward other than with verbal guarantees, while we can only accept written agreements,” said Asif.
The Pakistani military and the Taliban have been attacking each other on the border for the past few months.Tensions continued to increase.
