The police scheduled an inspection of the building owner

in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta which caught fire and killed 22 people next week.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Roby Heri Saputra, said that currently the owner is known to be abroad.He hopes that the person concerned can attend to fulfill the summons for the examination.
“The owner of the building is currently abroad. We have called him to schedule an inspection next week. We hope he will come to speed up the investigation,” said Roby when contacted, Sunday (14/12).

On the other hand, based on the IMB (Building Construction Permit) and SLF (Functional Worthiness Certificate) documents, Roby explained that the building was intended for offices.
However, the management is suspected of violating the rules because there are several flammable items in the building.Including the lithium polymer (LiPo) battery which is suspected to be the cause of the deadly fire.
Roby said that the Main Director of PT Terra Drone Indonesia as the suspect had also admitted that his party was negligent regarding safety factors.
“The suspect admitted that there were no SOPs, no K3, no contingency training, natural disasters including fires,” said Roby.

From the police investigation, it was discovered that the fire started in the inventory room on the 1st floor where lithium polymer (LiPo) type drone batteries were stored.
In the aftermath of this fire, the police have named the Main Director (Dirut) of PT Terra Drone Indonesia, Michael Wisnu Wardhana as a suspect and detained him.He was charged with Article 187 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 188 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 359 of the Criminal Code.
