The KKK-Bener Meriah intersection route, Aceh can now be crossed.This route was previously paralyzed due to flooding and went viral on social media because residents were walking across this route.
Two-wheeled vehicles and four-wheeled vehicles can now traverse this route even though the opening of access is being implemented in stages.
Quoted from a written statement from the Iskandar Muda Military Command, Thursday (18/12), the restoration of this route was the result of hard work and cross-agency coordination between the 16/Dhika Anoraga Combat Engineer Battalion Unit, the Iskandar Muda Military Engineer Battalion, and the Ministry of Public Works.

“The opening and repair of this road section was carried out on Wednesday (17/12) as part of emergency management efforts to restore regional connectivity and support citizen mobility and logistics distribution,” said Iskandar Muda Military Commander Major General Joko Hadi Susilo.
According to him, the handling was carried out quickly, planned and coordinated to ensure that the main transportation route could function safely again.
Apart from the physical work of opening and repairing roads, TNI soldiers also provide moral support to affected communities through a humanist approach and ensure the safety of residents during the work process.
In its implementation, the joint team deployed heavy equipment to clear debris and fill up landslide material.The challenges in the field are quite tough considering the unpredictable weather.At points that are difficult to reach by heavy equipment, TNI soldiers even carry out manual work to ensure the roads function quickly.
The public and motorists are asked to remain extra vigilant when crossing the North Aceh-Bener Meriah border area considering the contours of the land and weather.
