Thus, this decision cancels the decision of the South Jakarta District Court which previously only declared the defendant guilty of Articles of the ITE Law and acquitted him of the TPPU charges.
“Declaring that the Defendant Nikita Mirzani as mentioned above, has been legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a criminal act of participating in committing an act intentionally and without the right to distribute and/or transmit electronic information with the threat of contamination or with the threat of disclosing secrets and participating in committing the criminal act of money laundering as in the first and second alternative charges of the Public Prosecutor,” said Presiding Judge Sri Andini as reported.

The Panel of Judges then upheld the previous fine decision, with the threat of additional imprisonment if the fine was not met.
“The fine is IDR 1 billion with the provision that if the fine is not paid, it will be replaced by imprisonment for 3 (three) months,” he added.
After reading the decision, the judge gave Nikita Mirzani and the public prosecutor (JPU) the right to file an appeal within the next 14 days if they objected to the decision.
The case began when Nikita Mirzani was reported by Reza Gladys to Polda Metro Jaya in December 2024 for extortion through ITE and TPPU.At that time, Reza Gladys reported Nikita Mirzani on suspicion of extorting Rp. 4 billion.
In the verdict hearing, Chief Judge Kairul Soleh stated that Nikita Mirzani was legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a criminal act of participating in an act of intentionally and without the right to distribute and/or transmit electronic information and/or electronic documents.
Nikita was declared to have intended to benefit himself or another person unlawfully, by threatening to defame or by threatening to reveal a secret, to force someone to give an item which partly or wholly belonged to that person or to someone else, as in the first alternative first indictment of the public prosecutor.
So, the judge agreed to sentence Nikita Mirzani to four years in prison and a fine of IDR 1 billion, with the provision that if the fine was not paid, it would be replaced by imprisonment for 3 months.
Another decision is to determine that the period of arrest and detention that the defendant has served is deducted entirely from the sentence imposed.Determine that Nikita will remain in detention.
Nikita Mirzani has been detained at the Pondok Bambu Detention Center since she was arrested on March 4 2025 in this case.
