on Sunday (21/12), their friends were reportedly shocked by the separation.

“The last few weeks have not been easy for them and the two have decided it is better to separate for the time being,” a source told the outlet.
Olivia Rodrigo reportedly cried while attending Lily Allen’s recent holiday party in London over the situation.
“Olivia was at Lily’s party and was emotional talking about it,” the source said.”His friends have been supporting him but it’s been quite tough. It’s really sad at the moment.”

Rodrigo’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.Partridge’s representatives had no comment.
The two were first reported to be dating in October 2023 when they were seen celebrating Halloween together in London.
According to a US Sun report at the time, they met through mutual friends and became “inseparable” after exchanging messages.
Since then, they have openly supported each other and are not shy about showing affection in public.They made their red carpet debut together at the premiere of the film Disclaimer at the Venice Film Festival in August 2024.
In September 2025, Partridge said that he and Rodrigo chose not to be too open about their romance in an interview with Esquire UK.
She shared that they both understand the consequences of dating as celebrities.
“I think [it helps], yeah, to not overstate it or not have to explain it or make someone understand it,” he said.
“I have no doubt that we were both in a relationship for the right reasons, for example. I’m sure that’s something you have to think about when you reach a certain level of success.”
The Enola Holmes star also said that he doesn’t mind being “Mr. Olivia Rodrigo” in an interview with Variety because of his incredible level of fame.
“I can handle it,” he said.”I’m very happy, and I think he is too, so all is well in our world.”
Before being with Louis Partridge, Olivia Rodrigo was romantically linked to DJ and influencer Zack Bia and producer Adam Faze.
