Nurisa Dian managed to beat Madeleine Xue Li Ong from Singapore in the final round.The match was tight with Nurisa Dian able to have a slight lead over Madeleine.
In the first three rounds, both archers collected the same points, namely 28-28, 29-29, 28-28.

In this exciting situation, Nurisa Dian was able to perform better than Madeleine in the last two rounds.
In the fourth round, Nurisa Dian narrowly won 28-27.Meanwhile, in the fifth set, Nurisa Dian won 29-28.
This victory means that Nurisa Dian has presented two gold medals for the Indonesian contingent.Moments before winning in the individual event, Nurisa Dian took part in leading the Women’s Compound Team to win a gold medal.
In the team event, Indonesia also narrowly won 228-227 over Singapore.
With Indonesia’s 77th gold medal, this means that Indonesia is getting closer to its target at the 2025 SEA Games. Indonesia has set a target of 80 gold medals and this is expected to bring Indonesia into the top three positions.
