Nova Arianto revealed the condition of team I captain Putu Panji after suffering a blow to the head and having to be replaced against Honduras in the 2025 U-17 World Cup.
The Indonesian U-17 national team won 2-1 over Honduras in the final Group H match which took place in Qatar, Monday (10/11).
In this match, the captain of the Indonesian U-17 National Team, I Putu Panji, could not play the full game because he had to be replaced by Lucas Lee in the 79th minute because he experienced a head problem after a collision.

After the match, Nova Arianto revealed Putu Panji’s condition.He admitted that he still needed observation from the medical team to confirm the captain’s condition.
“Currently I haven’t updated Panji’s condition yet, but indeed Panji, after we previously played Brazil U-17, had a head injury,” said Nova, quoted from the PSSI release.
“And it happened again when he was heading in the second half, he felt a little dizzy again. Currently he is still being observed by the medical team, and hopefully there will be no problems,” added Nova.
In this match, the U-17 Indonesian National Team managed to take a 1-0 lead in the 52nd minute through Evandra Florasta’s penalty execution.
However, Indonesia’s lead only lasted two minutes.Honduras managed to get a penalty after I Putu Panji committed handball.
Honduras striker Luis Suazo managed to score from the penalty spot to make the score 1-1.
The continuous attacks launched by Indonesia succeeded in producing a second goal which was scored by Fadly Alberto Hengga with a beautiful kick from outside the penalty box in the 72nd minute.
Indonesia won 2-1 over Honduras.Even though they won, Indonesia still had to wait for the results from the other groups to determine their ticket to qualify for the top 32 from the best third place.
