U-17 Indonesian National Team
crushed Honduras 2-1 in the final match in Group H of the 2025 U-17 World Cup at Field 2 Aspire Zone, Monday (10/11).
The Indonesian U-17 National Team’s goals against Honduras were scored by Evandra Florasta through a penalty kick and Fadly Alberto’s beautiful goal.Meanwhile, Luis Suazo scored Honduras’ reply goal.
This victory became history for the U-17 National Team, because it was Indonesia’s first victory on the U-17 World Cup stage.

Nova Arianto admitted that he was grateful to be part of the history of Garuda Asia which made history at the 2025 U-17 World Cup.
“Yes, thank God, first of all, I say thank God because once again I am grateful to be in this situation, where I can supervise these young players to continue the process in this World Cup,” said Nova after the match, quoted by Antara.
“And I am grateful that they were able to make a new history, yes, a new history of how we were able to win the World Cup event,” added Nova.
The former assistant coach Shin Tae Yong in the senior Indonesian national team also asked his players not to be complacent after making history at the U-17 World Cup.
“But I ask the players not to stop here, because once again, after this they will move up in class, and the hope is that they will continue to develop and they will gain good experience during the World Cup, and that is what they will take with them to the higher levels,” said Nova.
The Indonesian U-17 national team ended Group H of the 2025 U-17 World Cup in third place after winning three points.
Even so, Garuda Muda’s struggle is not over.Indonesia can still qualify for the last 32 of the 2025 U-17 World Cup depending on the results of the matches of teams from other groups.
