Former Indonesian Deputy Minister of Manpower Immanuel Ebenezer alias

admitted that he was ready to face trial in the alleged case
blackmail
and/or receipt of gratuities related to obtaining Occupational Safety and Health (K3) certificates.
This was conveyed by Noel after investigators were officially transferred to the Public Prosecutor at the Corruption Eradication Commission (JPU KPK).
“P21 (handover of case files to the public prosecutor) today. Yes, you have to be ready, you can’t be ready. Fighters everywhere have to be ready,” said Noel at the KPK’s Red and White Building, Jakarta, Thursday (18/12).

Meanwhile, Noel’s lawyer, Lambok Gultom, denied that his client had received extortion or gratification as alleged by the KPK.
“While I accompanied him, our client did not commit extortion,” he said at the KPK office.
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) processed Noel and 10 other suspects through Operation Arrest (OTT) in August 2025. This arrest caused a stir among the public.
The other suspect in question is Irvian Bobby Mahendro as Commitment Making Officer (PPK) at the Directorate General of Labor Inspection Development and Occupational Safety and Health (Ditjen Binwasnaker & K3).
Then the Coordinator for Work Safety Competency Testing and Evaluation for 2022-present Gerry Aditya Herwanto Putra, Sub Coordinator for Work Safety, Directorate of K3 Development for 2020-2025 Subhan, Director for Institutional Development for 2021-February 2025 Hery Sutanto, Sub Coordinator for Partnership and Occupational Health Personnel for 2020-2020 Anitasari Kusumawati, Director General of Binwasnaker & K3 in March2025-present Fahrurozi.
Then Sub-coordinator Sekarsari Kartika Putri, Coordinator Supriadi, PT Kem Indonesia Representative Temurila, and Miki Mahfud who are also parties from PT Kem Indonesia.
They are suspected of violating Article 12 letter e and/or Article 12 B of the Corruption Eradication Law (UU Tipikor)

During the investigation process, investigators discovered the alleged involvement of other parties who were suspected of receiving money related to K3 management.
On December 11 2025, the Corruption Eradication Commission announced three new suspects who were officials at the Ministry of Manpower.
They are in the names of Chairul Fadly Harahap, Haiyani Rumondang, and Sunardi Manampiar Sinaga.
The three people have not been detained but have been prevented from traveling abroad for 6 months.
