Tasya’s attorney, Sangun Ragahdo, said that his party had just received official notification from the Religious Court regarding the appeal.

In fact, both of them should have been prepared to welcome the final decision on the divorce which was decided on November 12.Filing an appeal, according to Sangun, makes the legal process run again.
“Just yesterday we received an update from the Religious Court. I received a notification that it turns out the Defendant [Ahmad Assegaf] filed an appeal. It should have been accepted today, but because of yesterday’s appeal, the process is still ongoing,” said Sangun, Thursday (27/11), citing

Tasya’s other attorney, Mohammad Fattah Riphat, also responded.He questioned Ahmad Assegaf’s reasons for filing an appeal regarding his divorce from Tasya Farasya at the last second.
This, he continued, gave rise to speculation that Ahmad did not really want to separate from Tasya.

“Yes, let’s face it, we are ready. Because we believe that what we proposed in the first level court, namely the South Jakarta Religious Court, is appropriate,” said Sangun.
Tasya Farasya and Ahmad Assegaf are known to have been married for around seven years.The couple then divorced on November 12.
But now, Ahmad Assegaf is appealing his divorce from Tasya Farasya.
