National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo appreciated the National Police’s success in achieving first place nationally in the 2025 Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Information Openness (Monev KIP) organized by the Indonesian Central Information Commission (KIP).
The National Police received a score of 98.90 with the title of Informative, the highest in the category of State Institutions and Non-Ministerial Government Institutions (LNNK).
This achievement is an improvement from the previous year, when the National Police was in second place.These results also place the National Police as a public agency with the superior level of information disclosure compared to other non-ministerial state institutions.

At the Anugerah KIP 2025 awarding ceremony which took place at the Birawa Assembly Hall, Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, Monday (15/12), the National Police also won the Arkana Wiwarta Prajanugraha highest award as the Best National Public Agency.
The award for the National Police was received by the Deputy Chief of Police, Commissioner General Pol.Dedi Prasetyo as representing the National Police Chief.On this occasion, the Deputy Chief of Police was accompanied by the Head of Public Relations of the National Police, Inspector General of Police.Sandi Nugroho and the ranks of the National Police Public Relations Division.
National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo expressed his appreciation for the collective work of all levels and support from various parties for improving public information services within the National Police.
“Thank God the National Police achieved 1st place after previously being 2nd, thank you for the input and corrections you continue to provide; this is an appreciation as well as a challenge and responsibility for all colleagues to continue to maintain public trust through openness of public information,” said the National Police Chief.
The 2025 KIP Monev assessment was carried out through a series of stages, starting from independent assessment, factual verification, access testing, public presentation, to determining the final results.
Chairman of the Indonesian Central Information Commission, Donny Yoesgiantoro, assessed that the National Police’s achievements reflect consistent and measurable performance in providing public information services, as well as showing the implementation of the principle of transparency as a whole.
With these results, the National Police emphasizes its commitment to continue to strengthen the governance of public information services that are accountable, easy to access and responsive, as part of efforts to maintain and increase public trust.
