Prabowo, M.Si gave motivation and appreciation to members of the National Police in the West Sumatra Regional Police who were affected by natural disasters, when handing over humanitarian aid at the Koto Tengah Police, Padang City, Thursday (18/12/2025).
The National Police Chief expressed his concern over the disaster that befell the personnel, while at the same time expressing his appreciation for the dedication of the National Police members who continued to carry out their duties well even though they were facing difficult conditions due to the disaster.
“I received reports that many colleagues’ homes were affected. However, in the midst of this disaster, colleagues continued to carry out their duties and serve the community. This is an extraordinary form of loyalty and devotion,” said the National Police Chief.

A total of 170 National Police personnel were recorded as being affected by the disaster in the West Sumatra Regional Police area.For this reason, the National Police Chief handed over 170 aid packages containing basic necessities and daily equipment as a form of real support from the National Police leadership.
The National Police Chief also encouraged all personnel to remain strong and optimistic, and emphasized the importance of maintaining a spirit of togetherness and solidity in the midst of exams.
“Stay enthusiastic, continue to provide the best service. Show that the National Police is always close to the community and works sincerely,” emphasized the National Police Chief.
This activity is proof that in the midst of a disaster situation, the National Police is not only present for the community, but also ensures that its members receive attention, support and moral strengthening from the leadership.
