) handed over four suspects in a case of alleged corruption in the procurement education digitalization program

“Investigators have (handed over) stage two to the Central Jakarta Prosecutor’s Office. Today the team has gone there,” said Head of the Attorney General’s Legal Information Center Anang Supriatna in Jakarta, Monday (10/11).

Anang said the four suspects who were assigned were Sri Wahyuningsih (SW) as Director of Elementary School, Directorate of PAUD, Primary Education and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology for 2020-2021, and Mulyatsyah (MUL) as Director of Middle School, Directorate of PAUD, Primary Education and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and Technology for 2020.
Then, former Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Mendikbudristek) Nadiem Makarim (NAM), and Ibrahim Arief (IBAM) as individual consultants for the School Resource Management Technology Infrastructure Improvement Plan at the Ministry of Education and Culture.
The suspect Jurist Tan (JT) as Special Staff to the Minister of Education and Culture for 2020-2024 has not been handed over to the public prosecutor because he is still at large.
The suspects arrived in waves at the Central Jakarta Prosecutor’s Office building from 10.00 to around 11.00 WIB.
Suspects Sri Wahyuningsih and Mulyatsyah arrived at the location at 10.04 WIB, suspect Nadiem Makarim arrived at 10.27 WIB, and suspect Ibrahim Arief arrived at 11.06 WIB.
Sri Wahyuningsih, Mulyatsyah and Nadiem were present accompanied by a detention car and accompanied by prosecutors.Meanwhile, the suspect, Ibrahim Arief, came separately without being accompanied by a prosecutor because he was a city prisoner.
Henceforth, the Central Jakarta Prosecutor’s Office team will prepare an indictment and submit the case files to the court.
