The majority of Asian currencies fell.The Philippine peso fell 0.03 percent, the Japanese yen fell 0.1 percent, the Malaysian ringgit fell 0.11 percent, the Singapore dollar minus 0.04 percent, and the South Korean won fell 0.52 percent.Meanwhile, the Thai baht rose 0.22 percent.
Meanwhile, the currencies of developed countries vary.The European euro rose 0.08 percent, the Swiss franc rose 0.19 percent, the Australian dollar minus 0.02 percent, and the Canadian dollar rose 0.07 percent.
Doo Financial Futures analyst Lukman Leong said the rupiah closed slightly stronger against the US dollar because it was supported by Bank Indonesia (BI) intervention.
