Just starting to watch
KPop Demon Hunters
Last June, I never thought that animated films would become a new phenomenon in 2025.
However, everything changed after watching the film up to the last second.Seeing the success, popularity that has persisted to this day and being nominated for a Grammy Award, all members of the KPop Demon Hunters team deserve all of this.

KPop Demon Hunters presents a story, visuals, spectacle that can really be enjoyed in every aspect, even leaving a sweet and lasting aftertaste after the credits finish.
This animated film is not only about hunting demons, audiences from children to adults get much more on offer, namely an emotionally rich story about identity, self-acceptance and teamwork.
This film also explores pressure, popularity, the role of social media in encouraging perfectionism in the imperfect world of Kpop, and is all very well curated.
Interestingly, all the stories and messages are very smoothly combined with supernatural elements.

The dynamics between the members of HUNTR/X are also warming.Friendship, laughter and moments
vulnerable
they provide their own message in KPop Demon Hunters.
The humor included is also quite entertaining. The thin romance, even though it is a bit cliche, still flows slowly until it gives
emotional damage
at the end.
This interesting story is packed with visuals that also deserve thumbs up.Sony Pictures Animation made KPop Demon Hunters have detailed Spider-Verse style animation, but with a Kpop touch.
This makes the animation of this film very colorful and creative, as does the design of the characters which seem to come to life after coming straight out of a comic.
However, one thing in particular that deserves the highest appreciation is the scoring and soundtrack of this film. The music is amazing and immediately gets stuck in your head.
Every song in this film is not just background filler. The lyrics are not just interesting phrases strung together, but rather tell a story. They reflect the struggles, dreams and double lives of the characters.
Each song is perfectly placed, in harmony with the atmosphere and action of the story being presented. From heart-pounding hype songs to heartwarming ballads, it’s all there.
So this film’s soundtrack deserves to be considered a cinematic masterpiece.
The audience may each have one more “interest” which ultimately makes us like most or even all of the songs featured in this film, such as I am Golden and Soda Pop which are on major repeat.
If the early to mid 2010s had Let It Go fever kids, 2025 has a clear Golden stuck in the minds of audiences, starting with kids and passing it on to parents as well as adults.
The only note in this film is the tempo of the storytelling which is sometimes rushed to the point of lack of it
backstories
which makes the audience guess for themselves from what can be seen, connecting clues that arise from their own assumptions.
However, as stated by Maggie Kang herself, backstories are something she wants to develop in the sequel project.
In the end, KPop Demon Hunters is a truly enjoyable film, it has such a clear message, it has amazing visuals and a soundtrack, making it a stunning piece of work.
The writer is great, the storyline is great, and the animation and detail are amazing with meaningful cultural references.KPop Demon Hunters is truly one of the best films I’ve seen this year.
This is actually the condition that the creators need to pay attention to when preparing the sequel to KPop Demon Hunters. The first film which was so spectacular automatically made the audience have very high expectations for the sequel.
I really hope that the creators, especially the scriptwriting team, will have the same enthusiasm and tenacity as when preparing the first film. So, a sequel can once again satisfy fans and viewers will be willing if this series continues to be developed in the future.
