Deputy for Sports Performance Improvement, Surono, stated that bonuses would be given to athletes in accordance with the applicable procedures.
“The bonus remains in line with the President’s promise. Maybe in the not too distant future we will have a scenario. Hopefully the Minister will immediately report it to the President. If the President gives instructions, we will immediately execute it,” said Surono, Monday (22/12).

When releasing athletes to the SEA Games, Prabowo promised a bonus of IDR 1 billion to athletes who could win gold in the biggest sporting event in Southeast Asia.
Prabowo also mentioned the bonus again when he attended the FLPP KPR Mass Contract and key handover event in Serang, Saturday (20/12), which was also attended by Erick Thohir.
