), with bus transport to 10 destination cities.
The 10 destination cities for Nataru’s free homecoming are Solo, Wonosobo, Semarang, Wonogiri, Cilacap, Purwokerto, DI Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Malang and Madiun.
Director General of Land Transportation at the Ministry of Transportation, Aan Suhanan, said that the free homecoming quota was 3,090 passengers and 60 motorbikes.

“The free homecoming quota for buses is 3,090 passengers and 60 motorbikes,” said Aan in a statement, Jakarta, Sunday (14/12) quoted

“Bus departures will be carried out from the Pulogebang Terminal in Jakarta on December 23 2025. Motorbike transportation by truck will be carried out from the same terminal on December 22 2025 to the cities of Solo and Yogyakarta,” he explained.

Aan also explained that the free homecoming program provided 75 buses for passengers, as well as 2 trucks to transport motorbikes.
“The Directorate General of Transportation is providing a free homecoming service with 75 buses and 2 trucks to transport motorbikes. This program is presented to help the needs of people who want to return to their hometowns or travel quite far away,” he said.
He appealed to the free homecoming program held by the Ministry of Transportation and other agencies to be utilized, especially for people who will return to their hometowns and travel during Christmas using two-wheeled vehicles.
“We hope that this free homecoming program can prevent people from going home by motorbike, especially over long distances. We do not recommend going home by motorbike because there is a greater risk of accidents,” appealed Aan.
Furthermore, Aan said that registration would close if the quota had been met and free homecoming participants could re-register for validation at the post located at the Head Office of the Ministry of Transportation and the Bulungan Blok M Sports Hall, South Jakarta.
“The latest information regarding free homecoming can be seen on the Mitra Darat application via the Nusantara Hub platform or the Directorate General of Transportation’s Instagram social media,” explained Aan.
