This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Finance (Wamenkeu) Suahasil Nazara after the Coordination Meeting of the Government Strategic Program Acceleration Task Force (P2SP).The assistance was provided to 3 provinces, namely Aceh, North Sumatra (North Sumatra), and West Sumatra (Sumbar).
“For handling disasters, yesterday the allocation of aid to regional governments was delivered to 52 districts/cities, Rp. 4 billion (per region), and also to 3 provinces. This has been distributed from the APBN,” said Suahasil at a press conference at the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (16/12).

Apart from that, the government provides relief in the process of distributing transfer funds to regions (TKD).Suahasil emphasized that the official channel requirement was removed for regional governments (Pemda) affected by the disaster.
He understands that local governments in the 3 provinces affected by the disaster are experiencing difficulties.Therefore, the ranks of the Ministry of Finance led by Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa decided to provide this relief.
“We will simplify and practically make the channel requirements more automatic. Of course, this will at least be for the emergency response stage, later we will look at the next situation,” explained the Purbaya representative.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Finance isĀ also identifying the costs of repairing infrastructure affected by the disaster.He emphasized that the rebuilding would be carried out with money from the 2026 APBN.
“Of course we are preparing a budget for 2026, the Minister of Finance (Purbaya) has also said that we will prepare the budget. We are looking for all existing budgets, some in the Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Transportation, some for infrastructure development, and others,” explained Suahasil.
