) ensure the process of distributing temporary direct cash assistance (
BLTS
) the second phase will be carried out next week for 12 million beneficiary families (KPM).
“BLTS is currently in process. So this is the second phase of distribution process. If all the regular ones have been completed, they are almost finished,” said Minister of Social Affairs (Mesnsos) Saifullah Yusuf or his nickname, Gus Ipul, in Tangerang, Banten, Saturday (22/11).
He said, in the second stage of BLTS distribution there were 12 million verified beneficiaries out of the 35 million KPM who received social assistance.

“In the second stage, almost 12 million are in the process of being distributed. In the first stage, more than 15 million have been distributed, and later in the third stage, around 8 million will be distributed,” he explained.
Gus Ipul said that there were no obstacles to this distribution process, either through Himbara bank or PT POS.Meanwhile, updates to recipient data have been carried out with support from the regional government.
“It went smoothly. Yesterday (there were obstacles) because of the data. So once again, this is indeed data. But now we are updating the data and then distributing it. So it is gradual and this updating does require support from the regions,” he said.
The social assistance provided by the government is for October, November and December.Where 35 million KPM have received social assistance.
“Most of the BLTS distribution is through PT POS, or approximately 18 million through PT POS. Meanwhile, the other 17 million distribution is through Himbara,” he said.
